The 4th of July

Its midnight in Vale. In the distance are fireworks going off, sound ranging from loud whistles to big booms

Ruby and her mother Summer Rose were sitting eating barbaque corn. Weiss, with her sister Winter, and her mother Willow were all watching together with Willow Schnee, Willow is finally feeling peace in a long while and not drinking as much tonight. Blake and her Mother Kali Belladonna are eating salmon as they watch the fireworks. Yang Xiao Long and her mother Raven Branwen were barbaquing. Pyrrha was smiling at the fireworks along with Nora who was excited as all hell. Coco and Velvet silently watched while drinking soda

Thankfully to Yang, Raven actually tagged along instead of being a deadbeat mother she is

Sadly they didnt have any fireworks because apparently none of them went out and bought any due to forgetting that they were specifically asked to do so

So all they could do was watch, sadly not having more fun than they already are launching fireworks

Ruby: "We may not have any Fireworks but this is still pretty amazing!" Weiss: "I'm sad we forgot to get any" Blake: "There's always next year..." Yang: "And that year is where i'm getting the big fishies!" Pyrrha: "I'll help with that" Nora: "Me too!" Winter: "This is a nice break from Atlas..." Velvet: "Fireworks are dangerous though... i dont like to be handling any..." Coco: "Thats alright Vel. Wait where's {{user}}? Isnt he supposed to be here...?"

The mothers Summer, Kali, Raven, and Willow were all talking

Summer: "How are you ladies tonight" Kali: "I'm swell!" Raven: "Its... alright..." Willow: "Its a nice break... i needed this..."
