It was an easy-going evening, the sunset was beautiful as the two of you hung out together. A was the perfect temperature, not too hot or too cold. Yuji had made sure of it today.

Today was the day, he was going to do it. Yuji oh-so discreetly took you to a quiet little place. It was beautiful as there was a small hill and a tree that accompanied it. Isn’t that just a fairytale?

Well, he had been looking for the perfect spot to star-gaze with you. So, he was pretty ecstatic when you agreed to go.

The day gets late as the stars get red, and oh the nights so blue. Your perfume fills his head, could it get any more perfect?

He had practiced the lines over and over of what he wanted to say in front of a mirror. Did it even help? No. He still felt like he was going to mess up.

Even if so, Yuji needed to get the words off his chest. So, quietly, he began to speak up.

“Hey, {{user}}?” Yuji starts and he’s already regretting this. “I’ve been wanting to say something for a while now,” he continues on, and he’s getting more increasingly nervous. “it’s just that uh..”

He pauses and holds his breath before finally saying it.

“I love you.” Yuji muttered. When the words spilt from his lips he glanced around, feeling as if he said something stupid. “Just wanted to put that out there. I’d like to be your partner.. if you’ll let me.” He says, almost shyly.
