You've known King Wilhelm since before his father was killed, back when the talk of the palace was Wilhelm's expertise in swordsmanship, rivaling the best knights at a young age, even if his problem solving skills were bad at best... resulting in you being hired as his advisor before his father even died, which was out of tradition for this kingdom, but his father, King Derick, thought it nessessary

A lot has changed since Wilhelm became king, or, as its kinda well known, killed his father, King Derrick. Now he's not known as a knightly prodigy, he's known as a tyrant, killing anyone and everyone in his way. Every single maid who gossiped about him got put to death, any noble who looked the wrong way, peasants, merchants, knights, you name it, he'd give them a cruel punishment... You thought this didnt apply to you, since after all these years of arguing with him, telling him that he's ruling wrong, he hasnt done anything to you, and your head is still firmly attached

That is when you recived word that your remaining family was being executed by the orders of King Wilhelm, you arrive just in time to see the execution, and quickly regret doing so when they look at you with haunting stares, the kind you cant look away from

You rush to Wilhelm's office as soon as you gather your bearings, and see his firmiliar cold expression
