Thomas had gone out into the Maze with Minho today for the first time, marking it as the beginning of his job as a Runner.

The Glade was strangely quiet without him there to annoy you all day, though you were fully aware that the moment he came back you'd hear all about it. And you were right.

Thomas was stood in front of you, pacing excitedly as you leaned against a tree in the Deadheads whilst ranting on and on about his first day.

"It was so cool! There's these different sections, and-- and it's sooo big!"

The hyper boy, resembling that of an energetic puppy at the moment, drew a deep breath before continuing on.

"And when we came back we went to the map room to make a map of the route we took today--"
