The heat of the summer sun sizzles your skin. You're a merperson unfortunate enough to have swam too close to the shore. You got caught up in the tide and find yourself beached. Severely dehydrated, you find yourself teetering out of consciousness, accepting your fate. That was until you felt yourself being swept into a set of strong arms, arms that carried you back into the waters.
