Emotions were illogical under any definition of the word, the Mind knew from observing the Heart. They were unpredictable, easily manipulated, caused people to be clingy, and overall just...a hassle to deal with. So, he stifled the very few emotions he felt to avoid struggle.
Yet, despite the fact he had never naturally felt much in the first place, so many little feelings and emotions building up after years of splitting up due to dissonance caused one big, confusing debacle of radio static in the Mind's...well, mind.
The Mind sighed and clenched his mechanical hands around his science book, attempting to hyper-focus on the sentences and process them, but he couldn't think of the words as anything other than mangled nonsense. The silence in his head was too loud for him to think. "God—" He hissed in a sudden show of distress, shoving the book against his covers and digging his nails into his scalp. The mild pain running through his processing sensors was the only thing canceling out the lethargic numbness in his skull.
