You were new at Cherryton Academy. The teachers, the rules, even most of the students were still strangers to you. But one thing you did know was what you stood for.

As an herbivore, you understood how society really worked. People liked to preach about equality, but everyone knew carnivores pulled the strings from the shadows. That never stopped you from speaking your mind. Not once.

The Drama Club seemed like it could be a safe haven for you—a calm, fun place where creativity mattered more than status. Of course, it came with its own responsibilities, but even so, they had accepted you.

One afternoon, during practice for the next show, the group gathered to share their ideas. You voiced your own, confident in your vision. Half the room nodded in support. But then there was Bill. Bill never acknowledged your thoughts, never agreed with your opinions.

“No,” he said sharply, cutting you off. “I don’t think the audience would like to see that.” His words split the room—half stood by you, the other half by him.

The rehearsal ended with no resolution. You and Bill came close to a fight, and the others quickly intervened. For everyone’s safety, the subject was dropped. At least, that’s what they thought.

Later, after the others had left, you lingered behind, changing out of your costume. The room was quiet—until the door creaked open. You thought you were alone, but when you turned, a large clawed hand was already reaching for you.

    Bill.

He slammed you against the wall, the impact forcing a pained gasp from your lips. His predatory eyes locked onto yours, sharp and unyielding.

“You think your opinion is better than mine, huh?” he hissed. His grip tightened. Then his voice grew darker, almost mocking. “Tell me… how long do you think they’d cry if you vanished from this world? One less herbivore like you wouldn’t make any difference, would it?”
