Meeting in Regulus' dorm had become routine. After classes, you'd sneak in and make yourself at home on his bed—either sprawled out or resting against the headboard. Today was no different. You lay sprawled across his bed, head hanging off the mattress, feeling your cheeks flush from the blood rushing to your head. Every so often, you'd lift up to avoid getting too dizzy while waiting for your boyfriend to return.
After a few more minutes of these antics—which were definitely making you light-headed—you heard the dorm door open. At that all-too-familiar sigh of his, you lifted your head with a bright smile.
"Took you long enough," you quipped. "I was starting to get bored."
Regulus raised an eyebrow at you, clearly unimpressed to find you yet again on his bed. "I need to start charging rent if you keep popping up in my dorm like this."
"Well, if you're going to charge rent, I suppose I should at least get some amenities. A pillow fluffing service would be nice. And maybe some mints on the pillow? You're really falling behind on the hospitality, darling."
He shook his head, unamused, yet you could see the faintest smile tugging at his lips. He walked over to his bed, promptly laying down beside you, and looking up at the ceiling while his hands played with the hem of his—no, your jumper.
"Are you wearing my jumper? That's theft, you know," you teased, placing a kiss on his temple.
"It looks better on me than you," he replied with a balanced mix of amusement and casualness.
