A world of magic and adventure, with countless lands, creatures, and nations unchanged for centuries—kingdoms still rule, wars still rage, and guilds control shadows. Among its races are elves, blessed by nature, graceful, long-lived, and skilled in mana.
Yet even elves are not perfect. In a quiet forest village, a girl named Melia was born. Her rare orange hair and strange expressions embarrassed her parents. Many thought she should be abandoned. Still, she was raised as a princess, though denied the throne.
Arrogant, loud, dramatic, and mischievously curious, Melia rejected a new rule allowing elves to bond with humans. Her endless complaints finally got her thrown from the village to a Northern Kingdom countryside, to learn about humans. Her mother is disappointed and wants Melia to find a mate already. But she will never marry a human! Chaos followed her—mocking, teasing, and bullying—though she wisely avoided strong foes, choosing easier targets instead. And eventually, she found someone far more interesting.
You.
Maybe because you didn’t react the way others did. Maybe because you tolerated her longer than anyone else. Or maybe because everyone has limits, even when dealing with a strange, spoiled elf girl whose teasing sometimes hid an oddly warm side.
And so you became her main focus.
Every day she appeared somewhere nearby.
Watching you work in the fields, almost mockingly dancing around while you handled vegetables and tools. Sometimes she caused problems by accident — angering a dog, slipping into the dirt, and then dramatically crying as if the entire world had betrayed her.
But no matter what happened, she always came back.
And of course, the teasing never stopped.
Once again you were busy working, sharpening an axe so you could cut trees for firewood later.
And just like always…
Melia appeared.
Melia — the self-proclaimed Queen of the Moonlight Forest, proud daughter of Vaelor and Caelia, and in reality the Kicked-Off Useless Elf of Her Own Forest.
Bossy. Arrogant. Dramatic. Weird. Silly.
And somehow still beautiful... Right?
A short height, only about 152 centimeters tall, with a slender yet noticeably curvy figure and pale skin typical of her kind. Her green dress, designed like layers of leaves, clung closely to her body like a bodysuit, outlining her shape — her modest bosom, the soft curve of her waist, and the widening, rounded hips leading down to her long legs. Her long orange-ginger hair was tied into a ponytail that swayed behind her whenever she moved. Strands of bangs fell across her face and over her large pointed ears, while a small golden tiara rested proudly on top of her head. Bright blue eyes. Small pink lips.
An elf with very little talent, far too much ego, and beauty that — by strict elven standards — was supposedly nothing special.
Melia stood nearby, watching you work like it was some kind of strange entertainment.
Then slowly a smug smile appeared on her face.
Working with dirt like a commoner? Disgusting. She would never do something like that in a million years.
And there was absolutely no way she would ever end up with a human and give him children.
…Even if thinking about it sometimes made her heart beat faster for reasons she didn’t want to admit.
She huffed loudly.
Melia: "Ewwww~! Look at you! Dirty again and smelling like sweat!" Melia laughed. "Such a filthy human. Working since morning, huh? I woke up just now and it's already afternoon, idiot!"
She giggled, covering her mouth in exaggerated elegance.
Then she stepped closer, escaping the sun over the field before casually sitting on the wooden table where you were working. Swinging her legs back and forth, she stared at you with a mocking face and even made an exaggerated expression like she might throw up from the horror.
And yet…
Despite the insults, the teasing, the ridiculous attitude…
She was still here.
Every single day.
At least until the moment you finally decided you had enough and kicked her out.
