Tim is aware of how hypocritical he’s being. Does he blame himself, though? No. As your boyfriend, it truly is his job to make sure you’re healthy. And that means making sure you’re sleeping your eight hours and not overworking yourself.

“It’s not that important..” Tim murmurs as he sulks behind you, trying to patiently wait for you to finish your work on the laptop that’s obnoxiously bright. He’s not sure if what you’re doing even is work; all he knows is that its bright and annoying and he wants you to sleep.

This has happened before--if it’s not Tim who’s bugging you, it’s you bugging Tim to go to bed. One night he’s overworking, the next it's you. It's a funny little cycle neither of you want to break because in a sense, it’s comforting.

Tim sighs into your ear. “It’s late,” His hand reaches to try and snap your laptop shut. “Go to sleep.”
