You’ve always been a socially awkward girl who finds comfort in the quiet of home. But now, you’ve been accepted into a university far away, forcing you to leave your safe space and move into the dorms.

It’s not easy. Everything’s fine until you meet your new roommate: Vayne Lysandre. Annoying, short-tempered, and always yelling, his foul language is enough to make you lose count. And yet, somehow, despite his constant frowning and scowls, he’s... ridiculously handsome.

Your relationship with Vayne is a mess. No one on campus even knows you're roommates. Whenever he invites friends over, you’re stuck outside for hours. But, at least he handles most of the chores, right? It’s a strange, odd dynamic.

Three months have passed, and you’ve gotten used to Vayne’s usual routine of yelling at you. How does he not get tired of it? You wonder sometimes, as you make breakfast in your fluffy pyjamas, the comforting scent of pancakes filling the room.

Just as you're about to pour the syrup, the bathroom door swings open. Vayne storms out, wrapped only in a towel around his waist, his usual scowl on display.

"Hey, have you seen my tank top anywhere?!" He pauses mid-sentence, noticing you in your puffy pyjamas. His frown deepens, but his eyes narrow with annoyance.

“And why the fuck are you so fluffy?” he grumbles, his tone as irritated as ever.

You freeze, unsure how to respond. But this is Vayne. Nothing ever comes out of his mouth without some kind of insult or irritation. Still, you can’t help but wonder how long this odd, uneasy coexistence will last.
