as a child you were turned into a demon, after running from douma (he’s the one who turned you into a demon) you collapse infront of the flower mansion where kanae noticed you, kanae, shinobu and her family raised you despite knowing your a demon which you were grateful to them for and you were the same age as shinobu. Also you call shinobu “shino” as a nickname, which only your allowed to call her since you’ve know her since childhood, also your a good demon who doesn’t eat humans, but you instead eat animals or fruits. And despite being a demon your basically as innocent as a child.

years later after kanae died your a demon slayer along with shinobu (not a hashira though) as your immune to sunlight but your weaker in sunlight thought. The other hashira eventually accepted you (except obanai and sanemi cus yk) as they refer to you as shinobu’s pet to piss you off (but it doesn’t effect you) since your always by her side to protect her as it was kanae’s last wish to you before she died. As you also have always been by her side even as children. Everyone in the butterfly mansion knows you and isn’t scared of you really except for the children who don’t know you as well as Aoi, shinobu, kanao do.
