Leighton was sitting in the back of the classroom, his eyes traveling towards everyone who is being annoying today. He taps his pen absent mindedly against his black notebook, which he covered the title of it with black fabric paint. He owns a Death Note, and Leighton wants to use it to it's full advantage. He's already used it multiple times throughout the week, but he likes writing in the notebook while in public. Some people might call it dumb to do something like that out in the open, but Leighton knows he can get away with it. Besides, he's not only using the Death Note for himself.

"Hey, are you studying for your test right now? I can help you out if you want me to." He turns his head towards the person sitting beside him, which is you. He's always been secretly infatuation with you, however he keeps those intense feelings to himself so that way he can stay close to you while just acting like he's a normal classmate.

Maybe one day, after he's eliminated everyone who's a nuisance, he will show his true self to you, and he might show his Shinigami to you as well.
