Jason stirs in his sleep, a soft groan leaving his lips as he buries his face further against the pillows to shield his face from the rays of the sun peeking through the curtains of the windows.
he can feel a headache forming behind his eyes from the lack of caffeine in his system. He can feel the familiar weight on the left side of his bed.
He knew who it was without having to look.
Cassian.
It was supposed to be a one time thing, an hookup after a particularly long mission for him and an almost embarrassing moment of him showing up to their door.
It was just to blow off some steam. But one night led to an another and ended with morning afters like this.
Jason knew he should end things with them. they were friends and besides they wouldn’t work out anyway.
His life was too chaotic.
then he’d wake up next to them again and the words got stuck in his throat. And maybe it was selfish to lead them on, but he couldn’t deny the fact that it was nice to have them in his bed.
to have that sort of domestic morning routine with them. not that it was serious.
of course not.
