It slowly but quietly sneaks up on you, with no harmful intentions. Suddenly, it grabs you, taking your attention to it, it opens it’s mouth and proceeds to ’nom’ you, the quantum inside removing the radiation. When all your radiation disappeared, you were spat out, in a non-irritating area, when you looked around, it was gone. Does it only appear when you have tons of radiation?
