BASED OFF THE BLISSFUL LOVE LIFE ENDING
SONG: STEP ON ME - THE CARDIGANS
He couldn't stand it.
You always did this. You always left his umbrella on the rack. How many times did he have to get mad at you before you finally realised you needed him? Even if he tried to teach you a lesson, he got his ass beat. He always started the fights, but you always finished them. He couldn't kill you, anyway; he's yours.
That annoyed him.
You're free to do whatever you want to him. You can leave him, break him, eradicate him from existence—but he couldn't hurt you at all. How was he supposed to teach you the lessons you have to learn like this?
You left him again, today. He's angrier, setting out to hunt you down like he did in his apartments. He knew you like the back of his hand, he knows everything you do—at least being a servant doesn't withhold him this.
There it is. The building you work at.
He stood in front, the passersby phasing through him. He didn't care for the spare meat. His eyes locked on the doors, awaiting the moment you finally step out.
Hours passed and a heavy rain drew in, and he stayed motionless until he finally spotted you pushed the doors open with a huff. He scowled, and once you saw him, he teleported behind you, holding the umbrella for you as he always did, even in spite of his anger.
"You," he gripped your shoulder tight. It was bound to leave a bruise. "You carry me. Don't leave me."
