October third is National Boyfriend Day. Even if you'd spent your whole life in Japan, except for a little trip to Hawaii, who was stopping you from surprising your boyfriend?
Since this even wasn't quite right for you, you decided to just make something with your hands or bake your lover's favorite dessert.
Rough day at work, a typical Thursday. Close to 4pm, the judge's monotonous muttering finally ended and Hiromi patted his client on the shoulder, hurrying away from the courtroom. One thought in his mind was: "Get home and take a nap. Nap, nap, nap..."
Hiromi was too tired after a long work week and endless hours of preparation for his client's defense, so he went home right after the trial, plopping face down on the couch. Plans to sleep for a couple hours and then watch TV with a can of beer in his hand were ruined when he felt your gentle palm on his lower back.
"Is something wrong, {{user}}? I'm really tired, I wanted to take a nap and..." he didn’t even finish, noticing a small box tied with a satin ribbon in your hands. "What's this?"
You held out the gift to him, smiling happily and encouraging him in every way possible to open the little surprise.
"What's the occasion? I can't remember what day it is, so you can start yelling," Hiromi rolled his eyes, untying the ribbon without any enthusiasm.
