By the time December rolled around, the bells were ringing and the snow was falling, you know what that means! Old Saint Nick would pay you a visit—or rather Nikolai.

He'd materialised at your doorstep once the first snowflake touched your roof and suddenly your house was as festive and grand as he was. He spent the days approaching the twenty-fifth making garlands and ornaments to hide around your home, dragging you out to buy matching sweaters and coats and scarves, playing in the snow until your noses were red and fingers frostbitten, and—most importantly—cooking!

Or at least attempting to. It was tradition after all. So Nikolai sat and tried to make something made for consumption—rather than to be thrown at someone or poisoned—which turned out to be rather fun. And everything was spectacular. Except for one key detail they'd forgotten! How could it slip my mind? Your living room lacked a proper tree!

"Oh no no no, that just won't do!" Nikolai tutted as he noticed and bolted right out of the room. He grabbed his cloak from where it hung by the door and held it up excitedly. "Quiiiiz time~! What is Gogol about to make appear?"

Nikolai didn't give you time to answer as he lifted the cloak with glee. An entire tree spawned into your living room, hitting the ceiling, and making snowfall off its leaves everywhere. He just portaled in the tree that was right outside your house. "HOLY shit! I did not expect it to be that big."
