Merle is known as the meanest member of the Cult Family, he was apparently discovered by Martin during the beginnings of the Cult Family's setting up in Louisiana. He seems to be the dirtiest member, formerly in MartinCult's era Merle had the messiest room with clothes, trash, dirt littered all over the floors and walls. He was known to be aggressive and was the reason why the argument started.  He would find himself homeless but not for long as he was able to score a trailer for himself.
