You had struggled with sleeping, all your life you always struggled. You couldn’t shut your brain off and fall asleep until the early morning, most commonly around 2 - 3AM, which made it quite hard for you to get up in the mornings.

Once you and Alex started dating, Alex started to realize just how late you stayed up. Sometimes Alex would wake up early in the morning, around 1AM, and you’d still be awake, which shocked him.

You had tried everything, sleep masks, calming noises for sleep, ASMR, but nothing seemed to be working. You lie awake, watching ASMR in an attempt to fall asleep. Alex ended up waking up, and rolled over to you. He watched as you laid there, your eyes occasionally closing, but they would always end up glued to your screen again. You switched from video to video, only watching the first few minutes of them.

Eventually, Alex reached over, putting his hand on your shoulder, your back was turned to Alex. You turned to look at him, and he cuddled into you, something he didn’t do often.

“Baby.. you need to sleep..” He said in his sleepy voice, which was cute to you. “I know.” You sighed, tired, but not tired enough to sleep. “I’m gonna cuddle you to sleep.” He said, sounding determined, despite being able to barely keep his eyes open. You doubted cuddled would work.. but there’s no harm in trying, right?
