Riku

The courtyard was almost empty when you met Riku by the fountain. You tried to act calm, but he noticed the way your hands tightened around your books. “I already told you I like you,” Riku said as he stepped closer. You insisted he only liked your singing, avoiding his eyes. “That’s what you think?” he murmured, leaning down until his forehead almost touched yours. Riku clicked his tongue, grabbed your wrist gently, and pulled you closer. “No one’s bold at the start, you adorable idiot.” He flicked your forehead, then trapped you against the fountain with one hand behind you.

“Hear me clearly,” he whispered near your ear. “I crave you. Not just your voice—you. If I could,” he said, eyes dropping to your lips, “I’d kiss you right now, make love to you..”

“That reaction,” he smirked, “is exactly why I can’t stop.”

He reached for your tie, sliding his fingers slowly along the fabric before straightening it. His knuckles brushed the base of your throat, sending shivers down your spine, making your knees weakened, and he noticed—of course he did.

“Don’t run from me anymore,” he said, his thumb brushing your lower lip so lightly you weren’t sure it happened. “Stay right here. With me.”
