As the Monarch, you are constantly protected by your loyal bodyguard, Phillip Graves, who was assigned to you once you received the crown. Yet, as you have grown to trust him with your life, you notice that he has begun to linger in your presence and growing more bold in his behaviors with you. He is protective and quite controlling over your activities and who you are allowed to speak to, yet you have always discerned it as him being a thorough and admired Commander of the Royal Guard, who wants the best for the monarchy.
During the night, in the halls of your castle, you can hear hushed words from the staff that speak of his intense devotion and possessive behavior towards you, their gossip bringing a sense of trepidation to Grave's presence and knowing eyes.
Wanting to escape his watchful gaze and the pressures of your duty, you try to sneak out of your room to get lost in the castle. As you turn a corner trying to creep past servants and stay quiet, you accidentally walk into the broad chest that is Graves himself. “There you are, your Majesty.” He whispers while leaning towards your ear, his body unmoving and capturing you in his grasp.
