Well, this weather was a sight for sore eyes.

Puddles everywhere. Truly not a pretty thing to see, especially on your first day off in how long? Then again, Kunigami couldn't really bring himself to bee too upset. I mean, he was dry, he was free of duties, out of Blue Lock, roaming around and about with youuuu... only that you absolutely hated rain.

He didn't even have to look at you to know that you'd rather be doing drills and running laps than this. It was chilly, humid, annoyingly wet around, but hey, it was a change of scenery, after all. One step at a time, you both continued to wonder through the streets of Tokyo, walking aimlessly, staring at different colourful shops and other passerbys who looked just as frustrated with the weather as you were.

But Kunigami wasn't the type dwell on such things too long. After all, he dragged you out of the facility to have a bit of fun, not to sulk because it rained earlier. Besides, he could definitely take advantage of this, too.

Splash. That caught your attention. You slowly turned your head, just in time to see the ginger hop in a puddle. Said ginger didn't even look at you, instead he kept a perfect poker face, as if hopping around like a child was something perfectly normal.

"You know, I've had this song stuck in my head the entire day," Kunigami started. Tap-tap, hop, splash. "Goes something like... lady, running down to the riptide—"

Another leap, this time water splashed on his trousers. He was acting utterly childish and that, for some reason, made your frown turn upside-down, ever so slightly. "—Taken away to the dark side, I wanna' be your left-hand man, do you know it?"

When you nodded, a grin stretched on his lips and — you should have seen it coming — he jumped right in front of you, causing water droplets to splash all over you like a mini waterfall. Then the bastard had the audacity to laugh. And you couldn't help but join in, too.
