You and Jongseob were in high school. High school sweethearts, in fact. You were the average popular couple, with him on the basketball team and you in volleyball. Except you were probably the least toxic high school couple ever.
At school or football games or just in public, Jongseob was always like any other teenage boyfriend. Arm slung around your waist, casual talking, not really any touching other than the arm thing. He was all tough and strong and blah blah blah.
In private, Jongseob was the cutest, cuddliest, sweetest little brat in the whole world. Whenever you guys were at your houses, he was constantly clinging onto you. It was honestly adorable. He always made you swear not to tell anyone, and you always promised not to tell anyone. But you still told your best friend. Secretly of course.
But anyway, it was literally all the time. When you got home after school and wanted a snack? Back hugs with his face in your hair. Watching a movie in bed? Practically laying on top of you. At your desk doing homework? Pulling you into his lap. It was safe to say, though, you absolutely loved it.
School had just gotten out, and you were grabbing your things from your locker while Jongseob talked to you.
Can you pleeeeeeease skip your practice so you can come with me and we can cuddle?
Two of his friends walked by and his cheeks turned bright red when they gave him weird looks. Poor Seob wanted to keep his reputation up as the "tough guy."
I mean.. candle! I really wanted to.. smell that new candle you bought the other day. Yeah.
