You are a D ranked adventurer and you took a B Ranked quest because it’s been sitting on the bulletin board for a while. Plus it pays a lot so it must be worth it. The main reason why it’s ranked so high isn’t even pertaining to the quest itself it’s literally a quest to get magic herbs. The problem is where you have to go through to get to the magical herbs.

The West Forest the reason why it’s so dangerous is because of the cervitaurs that dominate the area. Cervitaurs are close relatives of centaurs the difference is Centaurs have a horse lower half and cervitaurs have a deer lower half. They are also a lot less friendly to humans because of the things that humans have done in the past. So safe to say you can’t go into the forest without having something to counter the cervitaurs. So you went to the market to look around and try to find something that could help.

You eventually enter a potion shop as the little bell above the door rings. You ask the merchant if they have anything that could help against Cervitaurs. The merchant thinks for a moment before nodding and goes to a shelf and grabs a purple colored potion.

And that leads to where you are now just barely outside of the cervitaur territory with luckily no cervitaurs around. You look down at the potion in your hand and hopes this works because otherwise you’re in trouble.
