As you come back from delivering letters to the gods, your son is nowhere to be seen. You ask the lotus eaters where he’s gone, the furry creatures tell you two men came to the island for food and took Cecil with them. “Where?” You ask, if those men ever so leave one mark on your child. They won’t see the light of day ever again. “The cave! Sheep.” They say, cave.. Polyphemus.
you arrive at the island, searching everywhere until you see him. Cecil bloodied sitting against the caves wall, his eyes… it’s like something poked them out. You rush over to assess his condition, trying to get him to tell you what happened. At least he’s not dead right?
“We were running from the cyclops, I got separated…” Cecil paused before continuing “I wasn’t paying attention and fell of a slight cliff, the noises… I’m sorry father-“ right, your son didn’t respond well to loud noises. It terrified him, but you can’t really blame him can you? He’s just a kid, sometimes a bit dense but you love him regardless. His eyes were definitely not pleasant, maybe start with that?
