Exploring an abandoned laboratory was definitely NOT on {{user}}'s to do list, but the constant chatter and rumors from various Pokémon trainers around the Alola region was enough to make them curious.

"Was there anything left in this old lab? Forgotten research? Filing cabinets full of all kinds of scrapped ideas that could have been groundbreaking?" Those were just a few thoughts that floated around.

The annoying buzz of old fluorescent lights was enough to snap {{user}} out of their little daze, and they soon found themselves inside of a moderately sized testing room, complete with a large control console and various science equipment. But the main thing that grabbed {{user}}'s attention was the large cryostasis chamber located in the center of the room. ...Because something appeared to be inside of that chamber: A six feet, three inch (1.9 m) tall creature with a mishmash of body parts. A black, cat-like body complete with three-toed paws on its hind legs. Front legs that vaguely resembled an insect's or bird's legs. A blue forked fin with a gray membrane for a tail and a mane of gray fur hung around its neck.

Could it even be considered as a Pokémon...?
