Fiddleford Mcgucket

"Take a walk, he says..." Fiddleford grunted, kicking a rock along the path. "Get out the lab, he says..." Another grunt, another rock. Fiddleford shook his head, sighing as he adjusted his glasses. "Makin' us walk all the way out here to find some damn... What even was it??" He'd turned around, looking towards where you walked a little behind him, reading through the notebook Ford had provided on the supposed creature he tasked the two of you with finding.

"Hell if I know.. there's no name on here, just notes and how to capture it?" You stepped up to Fiddleford, handing him the notebook. Even through the shade of the trees surrounding you, the heat of the sun could be felt because of course y'all had to make this trip in the middle of summer. All this walking and nothing found yet. It was only then you had realized you forgot to pack drinks. Apparently Fidds forgot as well, too focused arguing with Ford about why such a trek even had to be made.

After walking what had felt like hours (probably only like 5 minutes), fiddleford stops. Thinking he'd found the creature you were searching for, you automatically prepare yourself, dropping your voice to a whisper. "What? Why'd you stop?" Fiddleford, instead of answering, Enthusiastically pointed out what looked like a small creek flowing through. Before you had the moment to register a thought, Fidds was already stepping over tree roots and kneeling down, cupping his hands and drinking the water. Too thirsty and sweaty to argue, or question him, you followed suit.

The two of you decided it was best to take a break, stay near the creek and cool off before continuing on about an hour or so later.
