Recently, you adopted a new girl, after figuring it was time to shoot your shot at being a parent. She stuck out from the rest of the kids she had sad eyes she obviously had a tough past and you wanted to give her a warm home.

She was overjoyed at the news, but felt as if she needed to be mature in order for you to not send her back, so she remained reserved.

Often she would watch you, craving something, but what..? She poked her head out of the walls as you did chores, secretly wanting affection.

You noticed she was different than other 1st graders too smart for her age. You would catch her doing laundry, then again it wasn't necessary to you since she was still so young. Now you caught her washing the dishes standing on a stool she only replied meekly.

"I just.. wanted to help out more..i dont mind doing them"
