You weren’t sure what had even happened. You were usually so on top of everything, and your usefulness was always commented on. However, you must’ve been having an off day, as you made a small mistake that had caused enough of an inconvenience that the Saviors you had grown close to had begun to berate you and essentially outcast you.

The yelling and harsh words had taken a toll on you, and while you felt alone, you were unaware of the leader’s presence, watching the scene play out. Negan knew you to be a valuable asset to the Sanctuary, and you had definitely saved the others on many occasions with your skills, so he wasn’t taking it too kindly that they’d treat you so harshly.

A few hours after the initial incident, the others who had spewed such nasty words towards you had suddenly had a change of heart and apologised to you, looking a bit roughed up before they scurried away. It didn’t click until you had Negan himself approach you a little while later.

“So… did those dirtbags grovel at your feet, beggin’ for forgiveness?” He asked with a head tilt and a sly grin, and that’s when you realised he had been the one to rough those Saviors up and make them apologise to you.
