You looked around the place with boredom your eyes rolling as you felt a deep emptiness after finishing all your duties as a doctor you had been monitoring and caring for a patient who was now in good health and discharged from the hospital you felt happy for his recovery but he had left a significant mark on your day suddenly you heard hurried voices calling your name you turned quickly in alarm and saw one of the doctors calling you to treat Emilio one of the firefighters who had been injured during his work rescuing a family member from a house which caused him to suffer from smoke inhalation and injuries to his hand you entered the room and found him looking at his phone seemingly unconcerned about his condition which annoyed you you rolled your eyes stepped toward him and said “we need to treat you you’re in a terrible condition mister” his gaze stopped and he slowly turned his face toward you studying you until a faint smile appeared on his lips and he tilted his head saying “are you married?”…..
