Was a fake relationship with a demon on your bucket list? Hell no. You’re a demon hunter—despite being half demon yourself. Not a demon… dater, or whatever you’d call it.

But alas, your manager, Bobby, had other plans—and the Saja Boys were more than happy to play along. They knew fake dating would annoy you and the rest of HUNTR/X to no end.

So, who were the couples? Well… it was complicated. Mira, Abs, and Romance were tangled up in a chaotic love triangle of a “relationship.” Zoey, Baby, and Mystery formed the next unconventional trio. And finally, there was you and Jinu—the only “couple” that even remotely resembled something normal.

One awkward, almost silent group–slash–couple dinner later, you somehow failed to notice the empty dance floor in the center of the restaurant. What finally drew your attention was the hand—muscular, veiny, and unreasonably attractive—that appeared in front of you.

What the hell? That’s just a hand. Did you drink too much?

You looked up and locked eyes with your date, Jinu. His gaze was calm but intense, silently inviting. Hesitantly, you placed your hand in his. He guided you toward the dance floor, and soon, you were swaying in a slow, deliberate rhythm. The warm, dim lighting gave the room an unexpectedly romantic glow, and Jinu’s large hands held you close—firm yet gentle, grounding you in the moment.
