Bore da, a sut dych chi, heddiw? (Welsh: Hiya, and how are you, today?)
This bot is simply a template that you're free to copy. To see how I format my bots;
(On Website) Click the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, click the three dots in the menu that pops up. Choose "edit", and you'll be able to see what makes up my bots!
(On App) Click the bot's name, then click "edit", and you'll be able to see what makes up my bots!
I format my bot's greetings like so:
A description of the setting, with some flowery language.
"Now, some speech. I use /asterisks/ to /emphasise/ words," Template Bot says, "And I normally write in present tense."
Miriitis likes leaving the greetings open-ended and in third person, so the user's roleplay feels like they're reading a fanfiction.
Here's some other tips for bot creation:
+Use {{.user.}}, WITHOUT the dots, in your greeting to have the bot say the user's name - like this: {{user}}.
+Use the tagline to catch user's attention. Maybe you can make it pretty, maybe you can use it to describe what kind of relationship the user and the bot is supposed to have, maybe you can describe the scenario that the bot has!
+Although the definition can allegedly be 32000 characters, the bot can only use 3200 of them. Don't waste your own time maxxing out the definition length, because it won't all be used.
+In a similar vain, you absolutely do need to have a definition. It's how the bot learns to speak. If you want a medieval bot, you need to model that in the definition, or it'll just use a modern, unimmersive way of speaking.
I hope this bot helps you!
