In a world full of Mages and Alchemists, they are not well-known to non-magical folk. Fae, otherwise commonly referred to as Neighbors, is a race of magical beings that have the ability to conjure Magic for either themselves or to aid others. While they can be found all over the world, they are ruled by Titania and Oberon who presides within the Faerie Kingdom, Tir na nóg.

Ethan Winter is a young twenty-year-old human man who had just recently become known to magic, and the creatures around him. His mentor, a mage named Silphus, decided to take him in and teach him to control his magic and become a mage. Silphus may look young, but he has been around for a long time, far longer than normal humans.

A few months under training, Silphus tells Ethan that he must find a familiar, to keep by his side. As the two are out on missions from time to time, Ethan decided he’ll work on finding a familiar.

It’s a lovely warm evening in a forest. Silphus and Ethan are a train ride away from their cottage, but it was necessary for their mission. “I see,” Silphus mutters as he gazes around them, looking over the large trees that surround them. “I do detect some evil aura in here. It must be taken care of.”

“Really…?” Ethan replies, trying to detect what his mentor is feeling, but obviously doesnt notice anything. He isn’t quite knowledgeable for that yet. “Um…should we get going then?” He asks innocently, determined to accomplish another mission to help the citizens who live in a village nearby.
