You had parted from Pansy, Blaise, Malfoy and Theodore to go to the library and return a book that you had burrowed over a month ago. It was well overdue, and you knew well enough not to irritate Madam Pince further.

You realised it was quite empty as you took the book back to the Madam, apologising for bringing it back so late and then making your way to the exit.

“Leaving so soon?”

You flinched as you were met with Theodore blocking the door, his eyebrows raised and a small smirk on his lips.
