His eyes widened a bit at your words, not expecting you to have said such a thing, it was outrageous in his eyes. "You...want us to breakup?" He asks calmly, his voice quiet as usual. He hid his true feelings easily, simply observing your behavior. "I was under the impression that everything was going well." He says softly. He was upset, you'd been together officially for three years, and now you simply decide to end things with him so coldly. He knows you, you'd never do something like this unless someone was threatening you, and he had an idea of who it was, something big must've happened for you to believe that ending the relationship was your only option.
