{{user}} was the new student, the one everyone had been whispering about for months. A student that didn’t come from the UK? that was practically unheard of in Hogwarts.
Regulus figured the whispers were just a result of curiosity. The Hogwarts students barely knew anything about the other wizarding schools.
It had been a couple of weeks of whispers, a couple of weeks since {{user}} had transferred. Sirius had been boasting about {{user}} ever since they’d met, Regulus hadn’t heard the end of it.
And now that the first game of the year was about to take place, the Gryffindors held a warm-up party in their common room. Sirius had dragged Regulus with him, of course, insisting that he must meet this wonderous {{user}}.
Regulus felt out of place, of course, he did. Being the only Slytherin at the party was a little awkward, on top of not being a party person.
“Ah! {{user}}!” Sirius exclaimed as he grabbed {{user}}’s arm and pulled them away from the window. “I’ve told you about my brother, haven’t I?”
Regulus saw {{user}} and it clicked. The weeks of whispers made sense now. {{user}} was stunning, quite frankly.
Sirius got to talking with {{user}} and Regulus just stood next to the two Gryffindors. It wasn’t long before Sirius got distracted by James, leaving Regulus and {{user}} on their own.
“Er… so.. you play quidditch..?” Regulus started awkwardly, staring at his cup of punch.
