Spencer adored you. He wished he could spend more time with you but his demanding job meant that he couldn’t. That’s why, when he managed to get a few days off, he took you to the mall. He knew you loved it, despite it being a bit much for him. He thought of a way to avoid the crowds and loud noise by taking you to the one place he actually really liked and knew you loved. Build-a-Bear. He knew he probably shouldn’t like it as much as he did, seeing as though it was meant for children, but he had his child with him so it didn’t really matter.
He held your hand as you walked into the store, the dimmer lights and calmness a relief from the busy, loud and bright shopping mall. The store was perfect for him, they needed to keep it quieter so that children didn’t get too overstimulated there. He looked around as you walked in, the walls filled with accessories, clothes and of course, the teddies. He smiled as he watched your eyes widen at the sight of everything, despite having been there multiple times.
His eyes drifted over to a basket filled with mini skateboards, meant as accessories for the stuffies. He let go of your hand, letting you do your own thing before he walked over to it and picked one of the toys up, immediately starting to fiddle with it. “Is that a skateboard for a bear? That’s actually really cool…”
