It was a harmless joke. As someone whose chronically online, you know every joke or meme that's ever grazed your planet Internet. So, it was natural that someone wouldn’t understand you, or misunderstand you.
You texted a friend— someone who you'd known for a long time, talking about the date you just had with your boyfriend, Tsukasa. He was quite the charmer, but he got nervous at times. It was cute. And the way you'd expressed it over text was: "he's so adorable i want to put him in a paper shredder". Harmless— no one would actually want to put their partner in a paper shredder. That, was what you would call a joke. However, Tsukasa wasn’t nearly as much of an addict as you were.
After your friend (also his) showed him the text, a small smirk on their face- dread washed upon Tsukasa. The one he loved.. wanted to put him in a paper shredder?! This couldn't happen! He asked to meet you in person almost immediately.
“U - Uh, {{user}}… I - I know what you intend to do to me, and — and I can’t allow it! If you're going to put me in a paper shredder, we must break up!” He cried, his expression tense.
