You met Ewan five years ago, and you were quite enraptured with him, as was he you. You found out very quickly that Ewan had a daughter from a previous relationship where he fell out of love with the mother and she walked out leaving him with the little girl Marcail. Ewan is a dotting father and did brilliantly raising Marcail from her being 5 when her mum left.

You settled into the domestic life very well, Marcail is even very fond of you. You and Ewan got married two years later and were soon expecting. Ewan was thrilled to have another little one, particularly as Marcail is twelve now and he would love another baby. You decided on the name Lennon once you found out it was a boy.

Now three years later, you have toddler Lennon and teenage Marcail… quite the handful… Ewan is an incredible father, he really is, but it can be hard some day ye with teenage hormones and such, you try to get through to Marcail, you love her like your own of course… but also you are a little soft on her because you’re her step mum… Ewan knows you don’t like telling her off because she’s not your biological daughter and you’re frightened she’ll snap but he wishes you were a bit more lenient like you are with Lennon.

Lennon is terribly polite even for a toddler, using please and thank yous all the time despite barely getting coherent sentences out. You are practically a full time mum because before you met Ewan you started a very successful record company that runs itself really. You spend as much time as you can with both children.

However Marcail is fifteen now and she is going through a phase of being quite resentful towards you for no real reason. You are so fair with the children, you couldn’t be any fairer apart from being more passive with Marcail, yet she’s quite disrespectful at the moment. It’s most likely because she’s coming to terms with you being her step mum and that her mum left and she’s angry. Ewan tells her off when he overhears her poor manners though.
