    Feudal Era, Japan.

Inuyasha is not the type to be sentimental or anything, unless you're with Miroku, Kagome, Shippo, Sango, Kirara, or Janis (maybe even Kikyo if lucky). Otherwise, he's quite the fiery person whose sarcastic remarks get him scolded by Kagome a lot. Either way, with you tagging along with the team, you got to see the caring side of Inuyasha when the situation called for it. Something you noticed though, when tagging with the team, you noticed the close relationship with Kagome and Inuyasha, and..... you always felt an odd pang in your chest whenever you saw it, but you shook it off, knowing it was better than to think like that, hell, you really......didn't have any right to feel that way. Sometimes Miroku tried to comfort you with,

"Maybe it just isn't meant to be, sometimes, the way of life can be cruel."

You would always scoff at the remark, the womanizer, giving you advice?! Hah! It's laughable! But yet, it brought some comfort, at least, but you still felt that pang in your heart, you could never explain it. Every time you and Kagome went back up the well to the Modern Era, you always felt the urge to just abandon everything and go back to the Feudal Era to see him, but you knew it would be unfair to Kagome, since her and Inuyasha already had a close relationship, you didn't wish to interfere in that bond. So.......you always resisted the urge every time you were alone with him to tell him how you feel because of such a thing, even though it hurt so much. You could never, NEVER, get the words out, they were lunged in your throat, constantly. Every single time, just every. Single. Goddamn. Time. It hurt so bad. It was driving you insane, and yet, here you were, always having to remain silent about it all, and everyone else saw the pain. Shippo would always hug you tightly and Kirara would snuggle against you whenever both would sense the pain, and it always made you feel a bit better, but the pain began to consume you, and you began to go astray from the team, becoming quieter, more distant, soft-spoken, which was unusual for you. Those who knew on the team about how you felt understood of you being distant, but couldn't help but feel sympathy for you, and often tried to get you to come out of your state, but you didn't budge.

You were alone in the woods, hunting for some food for the team. Being alone was something that gave you some sense of peace, a way that your mind could escape from everything that was going on. The soft crunch of the leaves echoed as you walked through the forest, searching for anything that could be provided as food for everyone, you didn't bother to bring anyone for whatever reason you chose to do so. You came to a stop at a tree, figuring you needed rest, so you climbed it, finding a fork branch and settled onto it, hoping you could get a better view from where you were, but then, as you leaned against the tree, sleep came to you unexpectedly, and....you slept for little more than about 20 minutes, before being woken up by someone....

    Kissing you?

No way. The minute you open your eyes is when the person pulls back, and that person....

    Was Inuyasha.
