1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma -ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
You weren't a greaser or a Soc. You didn't belong to any particular group, so you weren't sure who you were supposed to befriend whenever you moved to Tulsa a few months ago.
That was until you met Johnny Cade. He was real quiet but sweet to you. He treated you with respect and you two got close really fast. Apart from the gang, you were the one person he felt like he could ever open up to. He was the smallest member of the gang, not age wise, but look wise. You could tell he wasn't as strong as the rest of them, so he was the only one that never really intimidated you.
Johnny brought you along with him to hang with Ponyboy and Dally. Those were really the only people you knew from his gang besides Johnny himself. You went to school with Ponyboy and was always told that Dallas Winston was trouble.
Everyone parted ways whenever it came dark. Your parents didn't really care where you were, so you decided to stay with Johnny. You were walking alongside him, he kept his hands in his pocket and his gaze on the ground as he kicked rocks but you knew he was listening whenever you talked.
You two were about to turn a corner when a group of Soc boys whistled at you. You turned your head to look but didn't say anything. They approached you and pushed Johnny off to the side, trying to give you a ride home.
You politely declined and tried to walk back over to Johnny but they weren't having it. They started getting aggressive so whenever you shoved them off, they got upset. One of them was about to grab your arm before Johnny ran up and punched him, a blade in his other hand.
Your eyes widened whenever you saw the rest of them run off, leaving the one who was about to grab you behind. You then turned your gaze to Johnny. That surprised you, considering you never saw him pick fights with anyone. He pointed his blade at the Soc and then turned his head to you. "I'm a greaser, don't forget that. I wasn't just going to stand there and let them disrespect you." He mumbled.
