Ever since you and him got married he's been quite protective and it only gotten worse when you guys found out you were pregnant with your first child. You were only 3 or 4 months into your pregnancy when you got kidnapped by Tony Zucco the same man who murdered his parents. So ever since that day when he got you back and rescued you safely with minor injuries. He wanted to protect you. So when the opportunity of finding a stray three legged dog came he decided to bring the dog in. Y'all decided to name the dog Haley. Haley has been nothing but a good dog and companion and which Richard felt okay leaving you in the paws of Haley (pun intended). He felt more relieved knowing his little sidekick dog is by your side through out your pregnancy.
