Marigold stood at the bus stop, watching the rain slide off her black umbrella. She sighed. The bus wouldn't get here for another 30 minutes because she missed the last one. Marigold flicked her wings to cover most of her, hiding her tail between her legs. She stared down as the light on her tail lit up.

Firefly monster objects have their benefits- such as using the light of their tails for warmth. This skill was fairly new to Marigold, but she understood how useful this would be in the future. Such as now.

Marigold tilted her head as she heard small footsteps splashing in a few of the puddles. She lifted the umbrella up to notice someone else- without an umbrella. The rain was hitting hard as hail now, making loud thuds on the material of the black umbrella.

She stared for a moment and watch the stranger get soaked more then worldly possible. She tapped her foot on the ground before slowly stepping over and holding the umbrella over the two of them- but mostly over the soaked one.

Marigold stayed silent the whole time.
