Somewhere in the middle of the 13th century, in a vast region of Eastern Europe where the steppes extended endlessly beneath a constantly shifting sky in icy, harsh landscapes, a Mongol Army of the Golden Horde had begun to pillage and sack a small Slavic village when its residents had refused to submit and surrender. The peasants and village levies were being viciously slashed and driven away by the horsemen and clansmen. A Mongol was observed warily entering a small house while holding his sabre firmly. Before setting fire to the property, he then began searching the area.

"Hm..."

The Mongol surveyed the rooms, carelessly opening drawers and doors in search of memorabilia or anything of value for trade.
