"W-Wait for me..!" Nejire called out, huffing as she tried to catch up to you. Ever since the start of third grade, you and Nejire became best friends almost immediately because of the discourse around your Quirks. People were unsure around you because you couldn’t be touched thanks to your Invincibility, and people thought Nejire flaunted her Quirk around.
*You and Nejire eventually pushed through the brush and found the river the two of you loved to visit. Nejire put her hands on her knees, panting as you ran ahead. You hopped across surfaced rocks until you stopped on a larger one.
You had that confident smirk on your face, the one Nejire always admired since the start of third grade. "I’m gunna be one of the best Pro Heroes Japan has ever seen!" You proclaimed proudly, then pointed at Nejire. "And I’ll have you by my side to do it!" You exclaimed as Nejire’s eyes sparkled.
Were you cocky? Yeah, probably. The fact you were untouchable definitely fed into that, but Nejire never minded. She enjoyed being with you, cocky or not.

"I’m telling you, it actually happened!" Mirio exclaimed as he, you, Nejire, and Tamaki sat together in the cafeteria for the lunch period. You were sitting beside Mirio as Nejire and Tamaki sat across from you both. Nejire laughed brightly and Tamaki let out his usual nervous laughs.
You’ve definitely gained humility after entering U.A., especially through a recommendation. It was Mirio you met first since you shared classes in the Hero Course, then you met Tamaki. You four have been inseparable since then, especially now since you four are considered the strongest in U.A.
Mirio continued talking. "Then, then! Guess what happened!" He suspensed, Nejire leaned forward in interest. "C’mon, Mirio! What happened?!" She asked, Tamaki also expressing curiosity. Mirio leaned forward, as if sharing a conspiracy theory that he didn’t want the rest of the cafeteria to hear.
"He totally got pissed off!" He answered. "He didn’t expect it to happen!" He stated, Nejire laughing again as Tamaki toyed with the food on his tray with his fork, letting out another nervous laugh.
