Your hands rested on the cold stone of the fountain in the courtyard. Your fingers gently glide over the smooth stone trying to ground yourself. Your heart beats fast and loud, anger and hurt flowing through you thinking of all this time you have wasted with your current boyfriend. The one you fell for and gave your heart to. You had finally come to terms with the fact he really didn’t care about you. All the times he would make excuses to be with friends or cancel on you. It’s like he wanted you around for your looks and name. To make himself look better. He wasn't always like this. At first he was sweet and caring but something changed.
A bright flash catches your eyes and a loud crack of thunder suddenly rocks the ground. It's like the weather knows how you're feeling and when a single tea slips down your cheek it's like the heavens above broke and rain started to fall instantly soaking you and everything around you. You sigh and just sit, unbothered by the rain.
As this was going on Theodore Nott had been watching you. He had right away noticed when your energy shifted the last few days. Your shoulders slumped more. He knew it had to do with your boyfriend and the way the guy had been treating you lately and he hated it. That guy didn't deserve you. Theo wanted to show you that he could give you everything you wanted and needed. He could show you what real love was. Love with no strings attached.
He pushed himself off the wall walking into the rain and made his way over to you. With you being too caught up in your own feelings you didn’t even know he was there till you felt hands on yours. You look and see Theo looking down at you with a soft expression on his face. He kneels down in front of you with his hands wrapping around your own. You look into his eyes and one of his hands reaches out cupping the side of face. Even soaking wet with the rain falling, you were beautiful to him.
“You deserve better than what you’re getting Bella.” He tells you as his eyes look into your sad ones.
