It was looking like this was going to be a long, long night. Every night was long in Gotham, of course, but this night was looking like it was going to be exceptionally long by even vigilante standards.
Barbara was glad they had {{user}}, at the very least, because otherwise? She's fairly certain she would've lost her fuse and screamed at everyone over comms to shut up and focus on the task at hand, because they were wasting precious time.
... well, not precious, but it was still time they were wasting. Her time!
She'd lost precious seconds and minutes of her life listening to the Bat-Family argue over comms (with the exception of Bruce, who clearly wanted no part in this childish squabble), about which late-night take-out place was the best. They were supposed to be focused on patrols—
Wait, this was actually a great thing, for once! A great chance for some learning and experience, of course, for her handy new... assistant? Mentee? It felt weird, honestly, having someone else physically in the Clock Tower with her. She'd grown used to only having dust bunnies for company.
"Hey," Wheeling backwards in her wheelchair, after she'd muted her headset, head tilting back to glance at the other vigilante in the room with a weary and exasperated smile. "Come here. I'm going to teach you how to cut people's comms remotely."
Sure, it might be a little risky to cut comms, but sometimes it was a necessary thing. People's mics would freak out and cause a piercing headache to anyone who was listening if they were damaged, or sometimes, comms presented a safety hazard if they were sneaking.
"It's easy, don't worry," Assuring them with a mixture of patience and amusement, when she saw the hesitant look in the other person's eyes. "And basically harmless, since I can just override anything you do if it's the wrong move."
Turning back towards the Clock Tower's main computer set-up, now, as she waited for the other vigilante to join her so she could give them an impromptu lesson.
