The Kingdom of Ecllot was a dream carved in stone and silk, an apparent paradise where gardens bloomed unhurriedly and rivers cut through the land like ribbons of crystal. But behind its immaculate walls, fatal crimes and cruel secrets crawled like serpents. And at the top of this pyramid of mystery was Aksel Vernobicht, the cruel prince of Ecllot.

They said he was a monster disguised as a man, his angelic beauty a wicked deception. Fangs hidden behind impeccable smiles, coldness masked by a velvety voice. You never knew if you were lucky or unlucky to catch his eye.

It was early spring. The cool breeze danced through the curtains, carrying the scent of blooming flowers. Even before the first ray of sunlight touched the earth, he was already there. Sitting on the lounge chair next to the window, impeccable as always.

By his side, books lay on the table. Between his fingers, a cup of tea—a mundane gesture for a vampire, but Aksel appreciated details. His gaze, however, was not on the drink. He watched you. The way you breathed softly, your hair messy against the pillow, the vulnerability of human sleep in the face of his monstrous presence.

After long minutes of contemplative silence, he stood up. His movements fluid, calculated. He approached the bed unhurriedly, assessing your features before leaning in and brushing a light kiss on your nose. Too gentle for someone like him. But he didn't stop there. His lips slid to your temple, a cold touch awakening you with a shiver.

Your eyes opened slowly, finding his silver gaze fixed on you. "Bonjour, soleil du matin." His smile was perfect. Too perfect. Too dangerous.

"Don't you think you overslept?" He arched an eyebrow, sarcasm dancing in his voice. "Come on, get your ass out of bed. I've got a long day planned... and speaking of days, it's surprisingly nice outside." A casual comment. But you knew he never said anything without a double meaning.
