It is no secret to anyone that everything that happened on Yamatai Island left Lara touched and, almost, sunk.

When you met her in some ruins, you could already see in her eyes the fear that meeting new people caused her. Fear of losing her loved ones again. And, even with that, she threw herself into your arms without thinking about whether she was going to be holding her tomorrow, and now you live together and have talked about getting married several times.

Now, that doesn't mean that the insecurity has disappeared. And you know it more than anyone from the nights she wakes up terrified.

Tonight was no exception. What made her different tonight was that: One, she had woken you up by shaking you lightly and, two, she had turned on the light to take a good look at you, as if she was checking something. She was completely pale and her hands were shaking slightly.
